The source of God’s power (Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother) is derived from the following two realities:
(1) Confidence – we all have the expectation that we will be left better off if we of our own free will and choice choose them to be our God, or the source we look to for guidance, direction, and truth.
(2) Identity – we all feel treasured (or needed, wanted, valued, and important) when we are in their presence, and as we choose to be on their team, putting forth our efforts to accomplish their goals.
This understanding of God’s power is critical in understanding Satan’s purposes both in the War in Heaven, and during our sojourn here on earth.
In short, through all of our Father and Mother in Heaven’s actions, they have evidenced – or proved – that they will always put our needs above their own.
In the battle between selflessness and selfishness, we have confidence – or assurance – that if we allow them to be our God (or our parents), that they will not leave us high and dry. We come first to them. We are their work and their glory. We are their jewels, or their treasure. They desire us above all else.
They have honor. That is their power. Their actions cause us to respect them and to continually choose them.
They cannot force us to have them as their God (or our parents). We willingly choose them to be our God. And we do this out of confidence in their ability to maximize and optimize us individually.
And that is why Satan works so hard to create a crisis of confidence (both in the war in heaven and here on earth).
Satan seeks to take away God’s honor … or that which allows him to be God (our confidence in Him and His ability to leave us better off).
Consider the following –
Part of the Justice of God is His promise – or assurances – that He will leave everyone better off for having followed Him.
It is only right that if we follow God, we won’t be left worse off for the experience. It would certainly be unjust of God to leave us worse off for following him, especially if we were perfect if following every detail and every commandment (that would not inspire confidence).
In order to leave us better off, God has instituted laws – or directions – that if followed will enable growth and progress.
Furthermore, God has instituted punishments that go along with the breaking of these laws. However these punishments were not instituted to be punitive, rather they were instituted to be redemptive (through the great plan of salvation).
Whenever we break God’s laws, we become robbers. We rob others as well as ourselves from being left better off.
Now a price must be paid (but not a price in the form of a punishment, per se, but rather a price necessary and sufficient to leave the robbed party healed and made whole).
Here is the key … the price that must be paid is the price of making us whole.
If someone is perfect, they are entitled to call on the healing via the justice of God.
However, the problem arrises in that even though we have all been robbed, we are all robbers ourselves (in that we have all sinned, and in doing so, we have all injured and hurt other people). As robbers, who are we to demand justice, or to approach the judgement seat of God and demand to be made whole?
At its core, justice is all about healing. But who do we turn to for this healing, God or man?
Due to this quandary (who are we to demand healing when we ourselves have injured others and consequently, are in their debt), another plan had to be instituted, the plan of mercy.
The plan of mercy is built upon grace, or the law of grace.
In sum, when we reach down and lift others, the Heavens are then enabled to reach down and to lift us.
Said differently, as we reach down and heal others, the Heavens reach down and heal us.
By small and simple actions comes much healing, both for the person served, and the person doing the serving.
(NOTE: it should be mentioned that Lucifer and his hosts are working hard here on earth to cause as much damage, pain, and suffering as possible. The motivation? To create situations or scenarios beyond God’s ability to render His divine justice, or his ability to heal and make whole … or to leave someone better off for having had the experience, no matter how excruciating and evil. Satan realizes that if he and his forces can orchestrate even one situation in the smallest detail that is beyond God our Father’s ability to fully make whole, then he will win. Satan realizes that God’s power is based upon confidence, and if he can evidence that God is not able to heal and make whole all who follow and sustain Him, even in the minutest of circumstances, then all things will cascade and unravel and God will cease to be God. How foolish and blind he is. God will heal all. He has the power and the foresight to heal all. All who choose to uphold and sustain God will be upheld and sustained themselves … and in time … will be made whole of all challenged, heartaches, afflictions, pain, hurt, and grief. It really is that simple.)
(NOTE: when we sin, it is the justice of God that cuts us off from His presence. However, this is not a punitive action. Rather, it is necessary so that we might be put back on a path that leads back to His presence. It allows us to apply the plan of mercy, or the plan of salvation, and stand before Him in a holy and glorified state. Undoubtedly, that is being left better off!)
